Hosting Problem(Vista)
Kay guys I need some help. I've enabled my new laptop to host like my computer(I change dmz settings whenever I change computers) and it >Hosts< perfectly fine, people join and stuff, BUT people always get stuck, 75% of the time. I have the settings correct and at 6112 and crap, firewall turned off, ran WC3 as admin. Yet people still get stuck, can anyone tell me a solution for this? (Note: I know, Vista sucks.) Thanks.

Haha, thanks for reviving, still can't get It to work anyways, it's a laptop, not sure what you mean by monitor settings, can you be more specific?

Re: Hosting Problem(Vista)
Do u have to start Wc3 as an Admin anyway? Plus, I haven't opened any Settings at all.
Where I ran Wc3, it asked me to block it or allow it, nothing else.
I have the Settings on 1024 x 768 pixels (Note: I'm using a Pc and Home Premium)

Re: Hosting Problem(Vista)
Not really, I just found it helped a bit in other games like WoW, some addons are not accessible unless you run as admin, it seemed to help a bit anyways. It's a Windows Vista Home Premium Gateway. I'm on a protected connection so no one could be interfering or anything. So I'm pretty confused...

Re: Hosting Problem(Vista)
Select your short cut for Warcraft 3, (make sure it's the shortcut, not the actual .exe), Properties, Compatibility, and Run This Program Compatible for Windows XP.
This is how it looks like on XP, so I'm going to assume it looks generally the same for Vista.
