Since the length of SHA1 Strings is shorter than the data you hash with them in most cases, those attacks are possible.
Even if you can't break them at the moment you are able by brute forcing with an expected amount of 50% of the SHA1 String lengths combinations.
I don't think that will be a problem in the future. Hashes have that system based weakness even if the algorithms are strong. - I don't like hashes -.-
