When you're making the new map in WinMPQ, there's a way to make sure it does .w3x. Probably when you're choosing the filename or something... If you can't get it to work, try another MPQ program.

Well WinMPQ has some ghetto compression problem. The original map is around 3800 KB.
When I make the new map, it comes out 1000 kB.
I tried Ladik's MPQ Editor. It came out around the same size of 3800 kB. However, I get the array error as I told you.
Any other MPQ editors you suggest I use?
