This is probably a very intresting topic and i have wanted to know for a wile.

Or since you have a bad title.
You collide a map by replacing your map in game with a collided version.

It's not collided until you're playing it against the original map. Until then, it's just some map you edited.

So you take the map you edited and put it in your folder, then you play against someone who has the real map.[/sarcasm]

So how would u make the map so they wouldnt have 2 DL but yet u still have cheats and it is the same map?

You edit the map, but keep the part of the map that blizzard compares the same as the original.[/sarcasm]

A collided map with cheats its impossible you can only have a map hack or something like it but for the cheats like if its gold
as soon as you type "-gold 500" or more it will split your game

Lol why don't you give some helpful answers?
By colliding it you change the checksum of the map to fit the one it had before
so wc3 thinks it's still the same. Alternatively you could edit files like models/graphics which
aren't checked anyway.

I think all tools to do the collision are private, not too sure about that though.
