File Name Help Required (MPQ Master)

Post by sethyboy0 »

Hey guys, just one question here.

I heard that if you want to edit the units in a map, you can just extract the units file and add it into a blank map.

When I look in MPQ Master, I see war3map.w3t, war3map.doo, etc.

Which one is the units file?
Want a couple of cool new commands for JJ's CP?

war3map.w3u
Just extract it, make a new map in WE, open the object editor, switch to Units tab, and hit File>Import Custom Data... and find the extracted war3map.w3u. When you're done, there's an export button in the File menu, use that, and add the war3map.w3u back in to the map. Don't forget to flush the map in MPQMaster!
