[Deprotect] EuropeRisk1.3

For fulfilled maps that most likely don't work on the latest patch (1.24 or later).

[Deprotect] EuropeRisk1.3

Post by cdaulepp2 »

Hi,

Map Name: EuropeRisk1.3[Protected]

Map Description: This map is of Europe. It is a risk mod.

Map Link: Should be attached to this posting.

Request: I do not have Frozen Throne for Warcraft 3. I only have Reign of Chaos. I need this map deprotected. I would like to be able to see the Triggers and how the makers got names to appear on the map in yellow print. I am pretty proficient at the toolset, except I do not know how to deprotect stuff. All I really need is to be able to open the map in the toolset with everything showing. I can figure out everything else from there.

Thank you.

Edit: Changed the title of this post to: [Deprotect] EuropeRisk1.3

Can you please format the title so that we can know the title of the map before we can do your request?

Example: [Deprotect]EuropeRisk1.3

I appreciate any help you all can give. I was referred here by Xantan. He said, and I quote: "the scumbags at wc3edit.net will be able to help you." LOL. I didn't know what to expect when I first came here. But after reading the forums and all, I see how awesome this forum is. And obviously you are pretty tech savy ppl too. Thanks again.

Hi again. I wanted to make sure I updated the title correctly. Do I have my post in the right format now?

I'm curious if this map is stumping ppl here? I don't know anything about how to deprotect maps. Can this one be deprotected so I can see the triggers and so forth?

When I try to open the map in the editor I get the following error message:

"This application has encountered a critical error:

Not enough storage is available to process this command.

Program: c:\program files\warcraft iii\worldedit.exe
Object: CustomObjctField (.?AUCustomObjectField@@)

Press OK to terminate the application."

Pressing OK causes the editor to shut down and I cannot open the map. Any suggestions?

I upgraded to Frozen Throne today but the above error message is what shows. I do not know what to do.

I replaced the war3 and worldedit files like you suggested, but I still cannot load. I get an error that says I am missing a file in my storm.dll and an ordinal 569 error. It then asks me for my CD, which I dont have. So, when I hit cancel, the error pops up again about storm.dll and ordinal 569. The same errors repeat over and over until I hit cancel twice.
