DotA 6.57 + (war3map.j)

For fulfilled maps that most likely don't work on the latest patch (1.24 or later).

DotA 6.57 + (war3map.j)

Post by Entitymaul »

Here is the link to the original thread : http://forum.wc3edit.net/fulfilled-requ ... t8959.html

My request had been put in fulfilled but my problem hadn't been solved at all.
Map Name: DotA Allstars v6.57, DotA Allstars v6.57 + AI, DotA Allstars 6.58 BETA.

Map Description: DotA Allstars is a map where the two teams (Sentinel and Scourge) battle against each other, each with their own objectives. The Sentinel fight to destroy the other team's Frozen Throne, but protect their own World Tree, and the Scourge vice versa.

Map Link:
DotA v6.57 : http://www.getdota.com
DotA v6.57 + AI : http://www.getdota.com/maps/ai/DotA_All ... ion_02.zip
DotA v6.58 BETA : http://rs377gc.rapidshare.com/files/179 ... eta_20.w3x

Request: From the DotA map v6.56, and any other DotA map prior to that, I've been able to insert my own codes into them thanks to the help and guidance of this forum. It's quite easy, just locating the war3map.j file and then pasting code in.

Ever since the release of 6.57, I've never been able to do so. The war3map.j file is missing from the maps. And I know this isn't on purpose. I believe the file has been very well disguised, or hidden. What I would like help with, is locating this file. That's all I need. I can insert the codes in myself, I just don't know where the war3map.j file is.

Thanks in advance to anyone who could do this!
You guys have replied that the war3map.j is within the Scripts folder. Yes, I do know that, it's been within the scripts folder of all the versions I've opened with MPQMaster, besides 6.38. But what I'm saying is that the maps have no war3map.j and no Scripts folder either. All I can see are:

File00000000.blp
File00000001.blp
File00000002.blp
File00000003.blp
File00000004.blp
File00000005.mdx
File00000006.xxx
File00000007.mdx
File00000008.blp

And so on. There are absolutely no other files within the maps. Perhaps this is just for me, can you guys see a war3map.j ? If so, please tell me why I can't, or just send me the war3map.j of each one so I can just edit it and throw it in the maps. :D

Thankyou in advanced, but please don't throw my threads into fulfilled without completion. This has happened like 5 times now =O.

Hm. Sorry about that, I figured that you were able to see it, you just weren't looking in the right place. You probably don't have it in your listfile, if you're using one (Hint: It really, really helps!)

You can either use RMPQEx, which can be found in the Tools section, to generate a listfile for the maps, or you can download this listfile. It has plenty of names in it, so you shouldn't have to make a listfile for maps too often.
You'll probably need 7-Zip to open it, since I used a fairly strong compression method, as the listfile is around 12mb. If you're not using 7-Zip, and you have errors decompressing it, don't even think about posting and complaining!
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
