Then, have RMPQEx use that listfile to open the map, hit Auto Search a few times, and then hit Extract Listfile
what is RMPQEx????

RMPQEx is an MPQ program, like MPQMaster. It's really good at getting a nearly complete listfile for maps, and can open any map that WC3 can. http://forum.wc3edit.net/tools-f32/rmpq ... t6363.html

Sorry about the late reply, HeavyLocker worked great and did a good job making it smaller, but some of the custom models appear to have gone missing. I assume these models are the unknown file names? Is there a way to fix this? My listfile was a combination of MPQ Recover and RMPQEx and the standard Warcraft III TFT one.

I'm fairly sure its the missing files. I ran the two programs again and searched multiple times, I'm down to five unknown files. Anyone know how to find the last five? HeavyLocker screws up the models without em, although it works great.

The missing models are the files that you didn't get a name for, the ones like File0000513.mdx. You could use Ladik's MPQ Editor. It has a name-breaking tool built in, you can run it on those five files, see if it gets the names.
As for other programs... That's about it. The staff have Dekar's tool, which lets us get a complete listfile for any map, but the only others are RMPQEx, MPQ Recover, and Ladik's.
Here, send me a link to the map you're trying to get the files from. I'll try and get a complete listfile for you.
