Some questions.

Post by Zesta »

1.Does the size of the hacked map matters?
Makes people need to redownload it?
2.If the size of the file matters den can we reduce some space in the map and make it
same with original.
so that people dun need to redownload it and have the cheat codes inside the map?

They will pretty much ALWAYS need to redownload a map of a different version/size/cheated.blah blah.

This has been discussed all over.
1. The size only matters if it's above 4mb, then it can't be played.
2. We can reduce it to very close to the original size, but it will generally be bigger, as we've added things to the map.

It cannot be done! IF THE MAP HAS BEEN CHANGED, THEY NEED TO DOWNLOAD IT AGAIN. You can't get around it. The only thing that can be changed without them needing to redownload is the preview image. If we add cheats, they need to download it again.
