I used to do that with my shopping maul German to English conversion. It will go back to the old copy if the file is in use somehow. Make sure your warcraft or editor isnt running. Also, I had to use a different mpq editor to get it to finally work properly. Which one? damn, that was 2 years ago I started that project, I forget

Heck, I just used Notepad.

Yep, notepad.

Just extract it from the map, open it with Notepad, make the changes, save, and add it back in, overwriting the old .wts in the map. And then flush the map, of course.

Yeah for that string just use Notepad lol. If you are referring to me hex editing a map it was for something other than that lol
