Well I had a map deprotected, and although the blocking of opening the map was removed it won't let me save the map after I have edited it...

Well, theres your problem! Deprotecting a map breaks it, no matter what... Unless you are the Jesus of jass or like, um... the god of GUI.

Not always, I was able to host the deprotected version through one edit and then it broke.

Did the editor crash when you were saving the map? If so, then most likely the code is obfuscated.

@ghettochild im having the same problem it indicates jass error upon validation and when i save the map the map becomes smaller.

The link also to the jass deobfuscator is non-existent can you give me a jass deobfuscator? ALso can i request dekars full list file?

The jass deobfuscator can be found in the Tools section, it's called JassDO. Or, you can use RMPQEx, by the same person. I believe he updated JassDO and merged it into RMPQEx though, so I suggest that one.

And dekar's full listfile tool is private. You can get a pretty good listfile using RMPQEx, though. Often complete.

Oh, and by the way, I hereby declare you a necromancer. Look at the date on this topic... Oh well, at least you didn't make a new one!

Yeah that "becomes smaller" means that you didn't import them properly.
