Reduce Enlarged Deprotected FIle

HEllo there, I have just deprotected a map the problem is that the file is too large and the game cant be opened. Is there a way to reduce the maps fike size?

While I'm far from the deprotecting master. The only real reason to deprotect a map is to get a hold of the triggers inside, thus negating any real need for the map to then be playable. If you really HAVE to be able to play it, I would think compressing/protecting it again once your done would about do it. (Totally made that last part up off the top of my head, I dont really do PROTECTING maps, just UNprotecting.)

Compressing/protecting the deprotected map would greatly decrease the map's size, rendering it playable. However, it would then be uneditable, which is why you need two copies of the map. The deprotected one, which is too big to be played, but can be edited; and the protected, compressed one, which can be played, but not edited.

Thanks for the info, anyway i have a question once again, if you open world editor and edited its skills of characters would it be saved under the war3map.j or where would that changes in file be saved?

Oh, no, lol. I wouldn't know where it was originally from. I was just quoting The Office. I watched the entire first season of it right before I posted. Probably more than 2 1/2 hours straight. Yeah... I haven't seen many episodes though, so I'm trying to catch up on all them.
