Help With Memory Editor!

Yesterday i surf around the internet as usual and i was quite bored actually. Later i found this game "Chocolatier 2" Its a flash Java based game (i assume) like Diner Dash. And the thing is, its very addicted.
After 2 hours of playing, i was stuck with no money and its game over(Its quite hard actually or mayb i just suck lolz), i wanna come up with some shotcut.
So, i fire up Cheat Engine and KABOOM !! i found the address(Pretty easy). BUT!! The problem is..

Everytime i change the address value(money in game), the money appears to be changed as i did with in memory address but the actual money DOESN'T change at all?!?!
For xample: I have $500 for a start then i change the value to 5000, i went back to game, i see my money is $5000 but when i wanna don't click me the stuff that cost me $2000 i just couldn't don't click me it.
I did freeze the value but that doesnt help anything. I have no idea whats going on.

This is an offline game for sure, u dont need internet connection to play the game(I try it with my laptop which doesnt have internet), u can save your progress and continue where u left with every information stored in ya HDD.
The only thing u can do online is submitting your score to global score ranking. (<<--- Mayb this is the case y i cant edit the memory)

Find the value, right click it, select "find out what writes to this adress", change value in game(don't click me something, etc).
It will eventually come up with the pointer. Find adress it points to. Not working? that must be multi-level pointer. Keep finding out what writes to them, unit you find value you need.

I try that and a new window comes up "The following opcodes changed to selected address"
Then i change value in game then i got a new address in that window.
I click "replace" and change value but still the same. The money has changed but the "actual value" DOESNT change >_<.

Any idea??
