the activator -cheats

then put cheats menu by pressing esc

It's real. It's not on getdota.com because it's a beta, he's either on the team or knows someone who is.

But they do if they know that a beta has been leaked, and that possibly the only way to get it and check out the new things is by downloading. However, they might stay away, because it's likely to be somewhat unbalanced until the final version.
