Which file should I extract for editing tooltips (tooltips for spells, items etc.) I am using MPQmaster.

Wouldn't it be the war3map.w3a, .w3u and .w3t? Cos they are the object data... =/

ya, and it depends on if its protected, or how its protected, but you could look in the wts (strings) file. If you want to edit something thats already edited, then here would be a place. If its standard text description, then it will NOT be in the strings file at all.

Basically, whats in the wts file is ANY text that has been edited.
