Code: Select all
Character Development: No actual hero-levels, characters gain stats by doing various tasks that are related to them. Characters therefore get better at what they are doing rather than just generally better at everything. Strength, Agility and Intelligence are replaced by Body, Combat and Magic respectively.
Equipment System: To use weapons, body armors, shields, boots, helmets and spellbooks a character must first equip them. This enables the character to carry multiple weapons and armors in his inventory and doesn't have to "waste" slots for the current equipment he is wearing.
Backpack: Enables characters to carry six additional items, effectively doubling their inventory size. Combines nicely with the new equipment system to allow one character to carry up to 18 items at any time.
Conversation System: Characters can talk to friendly and neutral NPCs with this key-word -based conversation system. After engaging in a conversation with an NPC by right-clicking him/her the player types a key-word such as "rumour", "work", "bye" etc. to make his character and the NPC to talk about related topic(s).
Alignment System: Not quite implemented yet. Some NPCs might not talk to or give quests to a character with bad reputation. On the other hand some shady figures might only talk to characters with a more sinister reputation.
Tradeskills: Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Building, Carpentry, Chopping, Cooking, Enchanting, Farming, Fishing, Herbalism, Jewelcrafting, Leatherworking, Mining, Skinning, Smelting, Tailoring, Taming, Tanning.
Notes:
Blacksmithing: Silver and Gold armors (body armors, shields and helmets) do not exist yet, so when crafting these items you will be given a Bronze version of the armor instead. (Fixed in Beta 9)
Enchanting: Enchanting isn't 100% finished yet. Only rings can be enchanted.
