Recover only recovers a Listfile..
Use Xdep to unprotect the Map..

Ok, I've been trying all morning to see if I can do it myself but it's just too hard for me. Though, I did learn a lot. Can one of you deprotect it?

U can do it yourself:
Name ur Map mymap and extract it in the xdep Folder, then click xdep and run it..
some seconds later u need to hit enter, there u go, ur deprotected map ;)

You might want to open the Xdep.ini and change these to 1
delete_als = 1
patch_w3i = 1
build_imp = 1
build_dummy_doo = 1
recover_script = 1
build_w3x = 1
rename_reserved_functions = 1
inline_functions = 1
rename_globals = 1
indent_script = 1
parse_w3data = 1
build_doo = 1
