After i deprotect, if i cannot restore the triggers of a map, i will not be able to edit the files like .j .wts by using mpq, as it would crash.

By adding the JJ's cheat pack, i have to go to the .j file to edit, but since it would crash i cannot do anything.


But what if i do this
I first add the cheatpack in, then deprotect the map.
Would it work?

Is there any other cheatpack that can be added in the map with using World Edit? Not by editing .j file.

Ok, i got it.
Why the .j file crashed, i forgot to delete the attributes file. :)

As for your questions that you stated.

Q: adding cheat pack then deprotect and no crash?
A: It will crash with cp if it crashes with normal deprotect.

Q: Is there a way I can add cheats through WE, without editing .j?
A: Yes, only if the map is unprotected in it's original state, otherwise no unless your willing to do long amounts of unbelievably hard work.

haha thanks!

btw i have 1 more question.
After i delete the attributes, i edit the .j file by adding a cheatpack.

It worked when i test the map, but after i open the map with world edit and save the map using world edit, the .j file would return to the original (before i edit) file with the attributes file returned.
