Well, at the point where you realize that parts of life suck, you should have gotten used to disappointments.
If you want some RPGs, try...
Sir-Tanks ORPG? Defiance's? Guilds of Hyppos? There's probably a few more, you could just scroll through the fulfilled requests. Those are ones I remember off the top of my head.. Oh yeah.
The granddaddy of all RPGs, the one that started them all: Dungeons and Dragons. Not a save/load RPG in WC3, but play the real version. Or play Dungeons and Dragons Online, it's rather similar to WoW.

Re: Life sucks
Bah. That game is a mere shadow compared to Baldur's Gate. Baldur's Gate is TRUE D&D, as well as Icewind Dale, and Planescape: Torment. They might be old, but, my goodness, if you like any sort of D&D, you're bound to like them. Actual 3D, like MMORPGS today, lack the charm that Pen and Paper, (the ones that I just mentioned before).Senethior459 wrote:Well, at the point where you realize that parts of life suck, you should have gotten used to disappointments.

You could try NWN2, which is semi-3D, with a camera option of the regular overhead camera, or the follow-camera that focuses on and follows whatever character you're currently selecting. I think Baldur's Gate is the grandaddy of all CRPGS, to be honest.

Re: Life sucks
Lol I have never been a D&D fan, but I saw some people using that paper stuff, and I was like wow... what a waste of time lol. But I can't really say if it was fun or not because I haven't played. RPG's are fun but they get boring to me quick, I'm more of a straight to the action type of person which involves guns, grenades, and knifing lol.
Do you support Durchdringen? If so, add the spoiler to your sig. Durch cares for you, so show your support for Durch!

It's not that way. It's just the RULESET of P&P. You don't have to do all that junk, lol. IMO, it's the best rule set for D&D.Durchdringen wrote:Lol I have never been a D&D fan, but I saw some people using that paper stuff, and I was like wow... what a waste of time lol. Re: Life sucks
I like the paper games because you aren't playing what some artist or some programmer thinks it should look like. You aren't following the scripts that they made, you aren't constrained by the physics and rules and artwork of the program. You create the character on paper, everything happens there, but your character looks the way you want it to in your mind, you can imagine your character looking very different from how others see them. The physics can be defied, not just with some spells that they pre-program in, but with spells that you make. If you want a house rule that says you fall upwards, you do! If you want to make a spell to use in your new quest that you created, or make a new character or item for it, you can go ahead! It can look however it wants, and it's infinitely customizable, because it's in your imagination. We don't have computer programs sophisticated enough to be truly customizable, and until such time as we do, my favorite games will be written. I really love those games because you have no limits. Sadly, one of the original creators of D&D, the one man who started it all, died recently. RIP Gary Gygax...
He started something powerful when he created that first D&D rulebook. I just like these games because you can really use your imagination, and the game is played however you want!
