WoW models in Warcraft 3 are illegal, by the way. They're also really huge, so if you plan on using them, you're going to end up with your map being 4MB, or maybe even more.

acually their not illegal, they just are in WoW.. so basically if they somehow find out u are using them in WC3 and they somehow know both ur account names on WC3 and WoW then they will ban you.. but what are the odds of that. They are illegal if your trying to make a profit off ur map tho. Otherwise.. why would they care if you have their models in another one of their games? and all i would have to do is use an MDXSquisher to make it so their low polys.

??? They're illegal. Direct ports from a game breaks Warcraft 3's EULA and therefore is illegal.

MDXSquisher doesn't do any good with these. It's not just polies, but unused animations, and textures. You also do realize that polies hardly have an effect on size? I've seen a model with three thousand polies, but only sixty kilobytes.

Yeah would be illegal... but should be possible. Have you tried searching for them using mpqmaster?

They probably dont care about having them in peoples games tho, bc some games like WoW Molten Core have them.

No i haven't, but also i found a way to extract them from the files and change the files into .mdx and .blp format... im just having a little problem with it tho.. they wont work, i probably did something wrong, but idk..
