[REQUEST!] Diablo Duel 3.2

For fulfilled maps that most likely don't work on the latest patch (1.24 or later).

[REQUEST!] Diablo Duel 3.2

Post by Buscape »

Can someone deprotect Diablo Duel v3.2? I'm absolutely in love with this map, and it's as close to perfection as any multiplayer map for bnet is, but unfortunately there are some bugs and there's some imbalance, that I'd like to fix.
I, myself, am a mapmaker - so I know my way around the World Editor, but the deprotection part is completely unknown for me. I have tried xdep and nathanmx, but without any luck(tho I have fixed the war3map.j manually). When I use xdep and save the map it gives me error on about 80% of the triggers - which I've heard isn't too uncommon.
So I was wondering if anyone could deprotect the map successfully for me?

Thank you in advance.

And the same thing happens with your deprotection. I'm using the original WE, nothing enhanced.
But thanks anyway :)

EDIT: Hey, mind moving this back to requests?

Ok Xantan you know when you open a protected map in world editor and it comes up with an error while loading saying "unit missing-invalid data" or something along that lines? I think that's what he's getting. Well unless I uploaded the wrong map that doesn't seem to be the case when I open it in world editor. Can you try downloading it and opening in world editor to prove whether I uploaded the deprotected one?

Oh yea and sorry if I misinterpreted what you were saying Buscape.

I'm off to work now, but I'll give you a fully detailed error report as soon as I get home. But I'll try with WEU, to see if that works.

Thanks for your time :)

Okay, the error looks like this(taken in WEU 1.20):

Image

And the error goes all the way down to line 9140, including aproximately 90% of the lines from the shown and down to the end.

Yeah, those damn item tables.. I wouldn't use xdep in this situation.
