question about Jass+Bindings

how can i automatically set the upkeys to be binded with -gold? any help please??

I want to Say if you add/edit this line

call BindKey(p2p,SubString(s2s,8,30),"up",EVENT_PLAYER_ARROW_UP_DOWN)

To make it look like this

call BindKey(p2p,"-gold #","up",EVENT_PLAYER_ARROW_UP_DOWN)

I think that should do it. I may be wrong but should work. I'm currently at work I'll let you know for sure when I'm home.

Do you mean, make a certain value bound to the up arrow when the cheats are enabled? Can't you just type, "-bindup -gold #" when you start? Obviously replacing the # with a number, or it won't work... Is that what you're asking? Or do you want that to be bound to up in the Jass?

Binding isn't exactly easy, and it really depends on the type of cheats you want it to be in... So I don't think anyone can be bothered helping u ^^

i already said what cheat i wanted to bind... i said for example, when the cheat is already activated, -gold is already binded to up key.. please help me..

Why do you need it so that when you activate the cheats, you can immediately hit the up arrow and you get a certain amount of gold? Does it really take that much time to activate the cheats and then say -bindup -gold XXX? Seriously! It's not that hard, but fiddling with the bindings IS. If you really need to be able to bind that amount of gold to up really fast, type it in something, copy the command, and then, after you activate the cheats, hit enter, control+v, then enter again. Then you can get that amount of gold by hitting up whenever you want.

ok.. i want to do it so that it will not be obvious when the they look at my chatlist.. because im gonna use it LANGAMES man... they will see that im typing that!! thats why im asking if anyone can help me do it... that when i activated the cheat.. up arrow will be binded with -gold xxxx
