I don't think you can save transparent gifs in mspaint... But I did manage to make the smiley background transparent with the help of my good friend, Photoshop CS3 :D

Btw, If you look really really REALLY carefully you'll notice that the black border is SLIGHTLY thinner than the original ;) but that's hardly noticeable

P.S. I couldn't be bothered putting the smiley on some other place so I just did attachments...
