Curse of Time Rpg 2 Deprotection

Post by darkchaos »

Hello, I would like to ask you to deprotect Curse of Time Rpg 2.
Information

This is mostly a normal rpg except for its many characters which makes it very fun to play. It takes place somewhere where there is lots of snow, and it very challenging in the beggining. Instead of wandering around and lvling up, you can build two types of bases, a nation and a home, which makes this game unique. A home is a simple structure that provides an increase in the exp you aquire. A nation is like a whole new race, while with a decrease in exp, you can build units to help you lvl, and upgrades as well as new structures that makes it fun to play. There are multiple bosses in this game, and it has goddesess for the last bosses. If you kill the goddesses, you become legendary yourself, and gain the powers of the gods. The max level limit for this game is 300, and if you achieve that level you achieve vision across the whole map.

Reasons for deprotection

I would like to edit this map to make more bosses, and fairly more balanced gameplay. I would like to add new nations and homes, to intrigue the player into playing more. I would also add secrets and events that would enchance and liven up gameplay. This game is personally one of my favourites and as a result I would like to help it evolve and grow.

Finishing Words

I would ask that you would deprotect Curse of Time Rpg 2 for me. It would help me a lot for all your hard work for deprotecting this map. I also ask that all the triggers remain intact so that the map is still playable. I thank you if you are able to do this.

This is by far the nicest and most wonderful deprotection request I've ever seen in my life.
Unfortunately, I've got to break something(s) to you -
1. Deprotection usually corrupts maps.
2. If it doesn't, a lot of things will be missing, (units, items, preplaced units, etc...)
3. The triggers are in JASS, (another warcraft 3 map making language, see the JASS section)
4. Something else I forgot.

so yeah, you're going to have a mighty hard time doing anything in it.

I would still like to have it deprotected if possible. I will try my best to make the map the same as it was, and better. Besides, i have no big problems with Jass, but as long as the file is openable in World Editor and playable on Battle.Net, I would like to have your help on this. Thank you for your support, you're very kind.

...you're not suppose to know JASS. My message was to discourage you. It ain't done crap, as far as I can tell.

(resume discouragement) Unfortunately, us moderators don't want to spend eight hours recovering each map that someone wants deprotected. Either you can deprotect it yourself, (which, the result will be that you'll get something much better than we would do, (we're too lazy to do a full one)), or you can get it X-Dep-ed, which will result in those problems I mentioned earlier.

Unfortunately, i have already tried deprotecting maps with several different methods. I seem to be unlucky with deprotection and deprotection tools, since every time I try, i always get a failure. I have tried multiple ways to fix this and yet it still turns out as a failure. I would like to have the map deprotected, if that is still possible. Thank you.

Maybe X-Dep will work on it...whatever.

Wait for King-Bushido, (another moderator), to come around. I doubt even *he* can complain about this request.

I haven't even done anything...you people need to stop saying, "Thank you in advance" and start saying thank you once they do it. :|

:P it's a fine request(the best deprotect request i ever seen here ;) )
but : U can deprotect every map(not roc maps) with xdep..it corruptes the map + we dont restore every map .
but2 : u know jass? then have fun on recover / restore every thing so u can play it ;)
yeah xdep works but it needs longer then other maps to deprotect ;)
for the recover u can do it self when u understand JASS.
