Hi guys, im new, i know how to hack maps from tuts and stuff, but the thing im wondering about is the Vexorian Optimizer u guys use, i went to the link Here, i clicked on the download mirror, but when i tried downloading it, it comes as some sorta file, a DAT file or 7Z file or something... Idk how to use those, can any1 tell me how the hell am i supposed to use that?(Excuse my language, im rly confused lol)

Do you have winrar or something like that because thats probably it. You don't have the program needed to read the file i.e. winrar

I have WinRar already, i dont think thats the problem. Usually its WinZip or WinRar.

Thats odd, if you have winrar then you should be able to use. Its supposed to be a rar file when you download it if you indeed have winrar.

Or, you can get 7 zip, I think that would work.

You shouldn't have to do any of that, if you have winrar or w/e then it should already be in rar form when you download it.
