hey guys umm imkindanew to this site and this tellinghow to depretect maps it probly a pretty old post butim havingtroubles with mpq master i cantfind the list file where i saved it.

Can anyone tell me how to get Xdep working. I tried using it with the map I wanted deprotected in the same folder as the Xdep program. HOwever, it says "Cannot find source map file: Yourmap.w3x"

EDIT: Nevermind he just released a new version.

--->maxpowers just make sure that after you go and save the listfile to save it in the "listfiles" folder in the MPQ Master Main folder.

--->Kwakdragon that means that you need to change the map name to YourMap instead i had to do same thing

Does anyone have any ideas as to why I did what the guide said, but I still cannot save the maps?I can open the maps I deprotect, but they have nothing but the terrain, and I can't save them.

Thats because deprotection cripples the map.
