Only reccommend using:

'-lumber #'
'-gold #'

Everything else causes problems

-mp / -hp affects all selected units (Killing a unit with these commands prevents certain gameplay triggers from going off which can glitch game)
-str, -agi, -int, -lvl, -xp, -vul, -invul affect all selected units (Which can lead to certain unwanted or buggy scenarios)

-additem/-item2inv Causes items to spawn that arnt part of the game (ALSO, if a stat increasing tome spawns and a builder uses it, wc3 crashes)

Killing a unit with -hp 0 command or -kill causes game malfunction and if you're selecting a shop and use "-hp 0" or "-kill" the shop explodes

-Gold/Wood cheats only are recommended

I also recommend changing to map name to something less suspicious and changing the minimap preview if you plan on having a public host

Please change minimap preview and remove unnecessary cheats please

That's the problem...

I want to just be able to add a simple gold cheat into it, but your tutorial doesn't work for this map

I don't doubt that it can be done but what you did was import RPG triggers and put them in places other than what the tutorial says

The triggers are different from the tutorial too which is why I'm confused :/

Also said somewhere that wordpad doesn't work sometimes

So, I guess I'm just looking for the tutorial for 'special' situations or something with more content

the problem seems to be, that wordpad corrupts the file somehow -.-
i think my tutorial will work for every map! just wordpad suxx!
im using ultraedit and it works fine... but jasscraft will do it, too!
ill upload jasscraft later, so you will be able to do it!
if not ill help you again, but i think it will work
