Ok. So you want to explore the internets.

Firefox:
Think about things. You might want to try out firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/), as its generally safer and allows for more unique features in exploring and therefore learning.

Firefox Feature:
I personally suggest you use a feature named Adblock (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865), or something.
This particular tool lets you automatically or manually block certain images, if you want to. That allows for the safer and hopefully more positive experience on the web.

Downloading shit:
Not a fan of tv/advertisement related material?
Nor am I.

I personally like to download things, it could generally refer to more-so considered illegal material, but, it could not. In the internet, you can find these things, and they could be legal, if you want, or not.

A few sites worth naming:
Torrentz.com, warez-bb.org, dictionary.com, wc3edit.net, google.com, gmail.com, firefox.com, http://virustotal.com/, myspace.com...
Yeah. Those are cool.
