I might release my code for my amh for dota, as its not too great, but, cool.
eh, you can detect a couple things, selections, issued orders, see if they see a certain unit (crash style...) or you can even go advanced and see if they are looking in fogged areas... but you really cant stop minimap maphack unless you have the people take screenshots mid game like Hans2 does along with using my map.. =/

There are 2 ways I know of for anti-mh.
One is if a person clicks on a unit in fog for a certain amount of time (Where they shouldnt be able to see anything) then they get d/c from the map. I haven't tested this and I'm not sure if you would get zapped by it if a unit you had selected went into fog.
Second way is you load a corrupted model (invisible or in fog) and you make the person view that area. So if they have mh on they crash.
Xantan mentioned these above.

Cource it is definately when you use an if tree with a couple sneaky things to make it more accurate.

You can only stop minimap mh via a custom ping system like in vampirism beast... But it only works for about one unit per person... So it would be good in dota or pudge wars, but not in something where you have -lots- of units.
