[Request]Swat:Aftermath code generator

For fulfilled maps that most likely don't work on the latest patch (1.24 or later).

[Request]Swat:Aftermath code generator

Post by Sogeking »

I know there's one in the fulfilled section but its a little outdated and missing a class and a trait or two. Is there any chance of an up to date one being released?

I dont know how it works exactly but heres the map if you need it: http://night.org/storage/SwatAfter152w.w3x

and heres a link to the fulfilled thread:
http://forum.wc3edit.net/viewtopic.php?t=153

thanks for any help.

edit: sorry for not being more specific but heres some info on the map

Swat:Aftermath is kinda like NOTD, theres been a nuclear explosion in Racoon City ala Resident Evil and you and your friend get to pick between 9 heroes and you've got 3 objectives to fulfill.

As to what i want done, that older code generator map just lets you pick your class/armor type/trait and rank exp and then gives you the code based off of what you selected.

Heres the specifics of what the code does:

I am thinking of updating the traits soon. I however won't be allowing the codegen to gain the pyro class. I have a lot of respect for the Swat map, and I would like to keep the hacker in that community at a minimum. The pyro class should be gained the legitimate way. Just as I think that rank 10-12 should be gained the legitimate way. The code gen I released does work, and the codes will work on the current version. So I suggest using that one for now untill I update the older one.

I would also like to ask others such as Aero and Dekar not to fullfill this request. Any other map is fine with me, just not this one.

And I should listen why? You haven't posted any work yet on this, should I?

So uh, at the start of your game you pick your class, then you want to be able to rank up by typing a command, right?

So all you need is a -setexp type command that modifies the used integer?

kinda confused on it all, haven't played the game...

you pick the difficulty, then you can choose to enter your rank code, or choose from the classes, then pick an armor class, unless you're cyborg whose armor is advanced, then can choose to pick a trait, when you win or lose you're given a rank code that saves your rank progression which is based off objectives completed, valor points unspent and time taken to complete the map, it also saves your trait/armor. theres a huge explanation of how experience works and i suppose i can copy paste it so you can get an understanding of how it works.

SWAT Rank Experience wrote:Introduction
Each rank requires 250,000 rank experience. You start at Rank 1 and will need 2,500,000 rank experience to reach Rank 11. Rank 12 is achieved by beating Nightmare (rank experience is irrelevent). Here is the rank experience range associated with each rank icon:
Rank - Recruit 0 - 749,999
Rank - Veteran 750,000 - 1,499,999
Rank - Officer 1,500,000 - 2,249,999
Rank - Senior Officer 2,250,000 - 2,749,999
Rank - Commissioner 2,750,000+

The total rank experience you can have is capped based on the highest difficulty your hero ever beat. You do not have to beat each difficulty level separately; beating Insane perfectly your very first game would unlock your cap all the way to Rank 11. Here is the rank experience cap based on the highest difficulty you've beaten:
None - 749,999 (Rank 3)
Normal - 1,499,999 (Rank 6)
Hard - 2,249,999 (Rank 9)
Insane - 2,499,999 (Rank 10)

Earning Rank Experience
If you win the game, all of your hero experience is turned into rank experience, and you get additional rank experience based on bonuses. If you lose the game, you get half of your hero experience turned into rank experience, and you get no bonus rank experience.

Level 50 represents 256,000 hero experience. The max level of 55 represents 309,000 hero experience. However, remember that you earn hero experience much slower upon reaching level 50. It actually takes far more experience earned to level from 50 to 55 than from 1 to 50!

Penalty Multiplier and Per-Game Cap
The amount of rank experience you earn from a game is reduced by a penalty multiplier depending on your current rank and the difficulty level you played. Here is a list of what percent of rank experience you earn by rank on each difficulty:
Rank 1 - 100% Normal, 175% Hard, 250% Insane, 100% Survival
Rank 2 - 100% Normal, 175% Hard, 250% Insane, 100% Survival
Rank 3 - 100% Normal, 175% Hard, 250% Insane, 100% Survival
Rank 4 - 100% Normal, 100% Hard, 100% Insane, 100% Survival
Rank 5 - 100% Normal, 100% Hard, 100% Insane, 100% Survival
Rank 6 - 20% Normal, 100% Hard, 100% Insane, 100% Survival
Rank 7 - 15% Normal, 100% Hard, 100% Insane, 100% Survival
Rank 8 - 10% Normal, 100% Hard, 100% Insane, 100% Survival
Rank 9 - 5% Normal, 20% Hard, 100% Insane, 100% Survival
Rank 10 - 1% Normal, 10% Hard, 100% Insane, 100% Survival

If your current rank experience is at least 750,000, the amount of rank experience you can earn in a single game is capped at 250,000. If you have less than 750,000 rank experience, the cap for a single game represents how much rank experience it would take you to get to 999,999. The cap is the last thing applied in the rank experience calculation.

Bonus Rank Experience
You cannot earn bonus rank experience in Survival, however, performing certain extra tasks will earn you bonus experience if you win objective mode. The bonus rank experience is added to your hero experience before the penalty multipler and per-game cap are applied. Here is a list of things which provide bonus rank experience:

-Unspent valor points are worth 100 each.

-There is a time bonus initially worth 500,000. Every 60 seconds of game time, this bonus is reduced (it will not go below 0). On normal, the decrement is 12,500; the bonus would be worth 0 after 40 minutes. On hard, the decrement is 8,300; the bonus would be worth 0 after 61 minutes. On insane, the decrement is 6,200; the bonus would be worth 0 after 81 minutes.

-Restoring more reactors than required by the quest objectives awards a bonus. The amount per extra reactor is different and affected by difficulty, listed here:
Normal - 3 awards 8,500; 4 awards 20,400; 5 awards 35,700; 6 awards 54,400
Hard - 4 awards 14,700; 5 awards 33,600; 6 awards 56,700
Insane - 4 awards 17,500; 5 awards 40,000; 6 awards 67,500

-If the ending radiation level is lower than the safe level, a bonus is awarded. Here's the formula (if a Horror exists, the +20 it contributes is ignored; radinating mobs are not ignored):
100*(Max(0, SafeLevel-Rads)*Round(650 / SafeLevel))
Example: Beating Insane with 0 rads left awards 64,500.

-Rescuing more civilians than required by the quest objectives awards a bonus. Here's the formula:
100*(Min(19, Max(0, (Rescued-Needed)))*29 + (Round(SquareRoot(Max(0, Rescued-Needed-19))*29)-15)*2)
Example: Beating Insane with 35 civs rescued awards 40,500.

-Experience Formulas
This is the formula for determing how much rank experience you have after winning the game in objective mode:
Previous_Rank_Exp + EnforceCap((Hero_Exp + All_Bonuses) * Penalty_Percent)

This is the formula for determing how much rank experience you have after winning the game in Survival:
Previous_Rank_Exp + EnforceCap(Hero_Exp)

This is the formula for determing how much rank experience you have after losing the game:
Previous_Rank_Exp + EnforceCap((Hero_Exp / 2) * Penalty_Percent)
