Not Being Able to Host, AGAIN!!!
Well, I can't host, again. I have Window's Firewall Off, AVG Anti-Spyware\Viruscan off, I've fowarded my ports to 6112-6119, got my ip address, typed it in, checked, allow anonymous internet requests, nothing happened. I put myself in the DMZ, still nothing. I have FioS 10MBS internet. When I got FioS, recently, my hosting broke. I have two routers, I have both the same setups on both routers. My ports in wacraft 3 are 6112. Alright, now I'm wondering what is not working. I have NO firewalls up, I've fowarded my router, and automatic updates are off. Anyone see anything wrong with this?

I do not see any problems here, but sometimes any unnecessary options may cause your router's port forwarding to malfunction. When you said you have 2 routers, are they connected to each other? Using 2 routers at once may cause the port forwards to interfere with each other. Turning anti-virus programs off usually work, so I don't believe that is the problem. Usually, a firewall on Service Pack 2 will work as long as you have port 6112 TCP open in the Exceptions tab.Selvanus wrote:Well, I can't host, again. Try running your connection directly from your FioS and see if you can host; this method will tell you if it is an initial router problem or not. Another case may be that your Battle.net registry settings were altered without your permission; you can download a registry fix for your BNet Realms on Blizzard's website.

2. I'm XP with Window's Service Pack 2.
3. I already have port 6112 TCP *and* UCP in the exceptions tab, even if I did turn it off XD.
4. What do you mean? Running a connection directly from FioS?
5. Yeah, it might be my registry, because I recently reformatted and I backed up my wc3 folder and copy pasted it on my computer. lol

Technical? That's only if you're willing to try. There's absolutely no reason it shouldn't work.Sir-Tanks wrote:The techincal word is "Your Fucked"

Re: Not Being Able to Host, AGAIN!!!
two routers... strange... how are they connected?
maybe you need to set the second router as destination in the first router...
maybe just give me access to it so i can fix it
why don't u just use the first one?

Well, the FioS one we have to have, otherwise our internet doesn't work. But it's a piece of crap. We get 95% loss on it, so we connect them to each other so it works better.Dekar wrote:two routers... strange... how are they connected?

As to George, if you read my first post, I said I had the same setups on both, aka, they're both fowarded.
And I haven't a clue how they're connected. lol.
