I have downloaded this map and tried to play it but it seems to give the following error: Cannot load map data -> game could not be found.
Is there a way to get this map working again? I want to try it out

We do not fix maps.
If some one uploaded a map that is not even working on wc3, we will not fix it for him.
If you cant play a map, play a different one.
