I get an error when opening the deprotected.w3x in WorldEdit.
"Object: WERandomGroupSet (.?AUWERandomGroupSet@@)"

Is the deprotection not finished, or have I done something wrong? How to open it?

I have still problems. I downloaded both links. I can open the map now, but I get a warning that the map was created with a newer version and maybe some features don't work.
I can see the terrain, but there seem to be no areas and in the object editor, there are no changes to the default units.
If I just try to save, without modifying anything I get an error: "CustomObjectField(.?AUCustomObjectField@@)"
The version of my default editor is 1.26 (6059)
The version of the editor following your links are 1.21b (6052)

You cant view units cuz its protected , the creator used vex optimizer. If you want to edit the map i highly suggest you copy and paste the files into a new map , copy the map terrain and stuff.
