Re: [Guide]how to unhex MPQ Somj2hM16
But Ladik's mpq editor can only force open it, can't edit :/
trying to unhex now
file size = 6F2E20
00 02 00 00 = 200 Hash size
98 01 00 00 = 198 Block size
(Hash + Block Size) * 10 = Block & Hash Size
(200+198=398)*10 = 3980
Map Hash size = Initial Map Size - (Block & Hash Size)
6F2E20- 3980=6EF4A0
Map Block size = Map Hash size + (Hash size *10)
6EF4A0 + 2000 = 6F14A0
what did i do wrong?

Apple, 1 big mistake u did is that we insert the data with opposite direction, for example, map size = 6F2E20, then we input the data with this orientation, 20 2E 6F

Thanks! Now that I've corrected that..JustANewbie wrote:Apple, 1 big mistake u did is that we insert the data with opposite direction, for example, map size = 6F2E20, then we input the data with this orientation, 20 2E 6F
I'm stuck here
28. Go back to hex editor and correct the map size then recalculate map hash size and map block size
I don't know what to correct

So I have the same, I don't know what to correct on 28th step.
How to correct optimize the map? After 25 or 22 step
