I just learned it some days ago from a friend of a friend...

Maybe some of your guys, witch are hosts allways wanted an autorefresher whit their name , whit a speicla name, or simply someting original like - RF - or what ever. but you dont know how ?
thats not a post where im gonna post back 1 000 times new autorefresher for everyone, its very easy if you just know how, so read it do it uself:)

you -need-
1- a hex editor
( mine i used was HHD Free Hex Editor )
2- some copys of autorefresher ( any ) cause you may miss someting in your work and if you do missing at part the autorefresher may just dont work, when you crash a command line it crash all the others and shit so you need moore than only your copy <.<
(mine was clan cbs, so [11 characters] )

you -have to-
open your the editor -.- open autorefresher with it....then

you get the search menu in your hex editor , for my part it was HHD Free Hex Editor and i had to press Ctlr+F for search menu.

you write down in the second little square ( Whats this ???)
when you type what you wnat to search you have 2 choice for typing it,

you see a first little square where you can write down the HEX values, dont pick this one unless you know everyting O_O
if you click on the second one, at the right, you can write like C and the HEX value will auto-write in the left.

well so you write the full name of your autorefresher name )IN GAME(
like mine was -Clan--CBS- ( MAJS ARE IMPORTANT , it makes another HEX value if you do an error whit MAJS )

and you click find(or go,start, what ever lol just press enter <.<), you will find in the codes a place where you can modify it, and you put what ever you want, press save close hex editor and go test out.

Use the latest version of Banlist. It has an autorefresher.

Some people didnt know that. They cant get it to work because they have Banlist and Autorefresher on at the same time.

Just download the autorefresher from the hive workshop, you don't need to edit it because it has an option in it to change the name to anything you want, much easier than using Hex Editor.

Can do it with banlist too, I always sport my custom one... It was my friend SCVirus who helped me learn to hex autorefreshers way back in the first place, then I wrote a guide, then he even showed up to help with wc3banlist.

Heres what you do:
If you need help... too bad.

1. download aspackdie (a unpacker you use on the banlist exe) [just google it]
2. probably need to extract aspackdie with winrar or whatever
3. open up the CMD (start+run+CMD) now you drag the aspackdie exe to it and then you press the space bar once, now drag the banlist exe, now drag the banlist exe again and write a 2 or something or manually input a new directory for it.
4. hit enter and let it unpack it
5. open up the banlist exe (wc3banlist2.exe) that you just made with a hex editor XVI32 is what I use [google it or look around on this site]
6. then search for the apple code () with Find or replace as its used by default by wc3banlist for the autorefresher name - I wonder where he found it from...
7. find the |cff at the front of the apple code - thats the very start of it, thats the color which you can find more codes of here: http://users.rcn.com/giant.interport//C ... ifier.html
8. place your new |cff plus 6 digit color code minus the # you found at the site, then write up to 5 letters after it... or forget the color and write what you want.
9. I think thats it, so now simply file+save and put it somewhere else, then I'd make a copy of the packed version of the banlist.exe, then, simply take yours and replace the old one.

Remember - the name can only be as long as it originally was, which was the max in this case. 15 letters.

I think that should work, its been awhile since I wrote a guide for this, but, I have done it in the past at a few places...
