Re: NEW Protection Map
I have yet to find out how to get the correct hashtable size but i can extract any file i want.
While i'm not much into cheating i still could attach the .j as proof since you wouldn't be able to reinsert it anyways but i think i'll wait and see what, if any, progress haxorico has made.
i got the .j after an hour or two

Also, what tool did you use to extract it with?

Re: NEW Protection Map
I used my own tools ofcourse. Though it *should* actually be openable with anyhaxorico wrote: I think you forgot to attach the file.

mpq-editor based on the stormlib. Again, i guess it's just bogus hashtable size.
Any other counter-mechanisms are pretty standard (and some others not even present).
And i think i wont attach the .j. I'm not much into cheating. I mean it wouldn't
make a difference since you can't even open, let alone reinsert anything.
But i'm all for openness so i can discuss this. If you use this knowledge to
cheat i can't do much.
I *think* if you correct the hashtable size mpqedit should be able to open this.
Unfortunately i have no idea what the correct htsize is.
It obviously isn't 2^20 which the mpq-header states since v1 mpqs hashtables
must < 2^16.
Also if you can't manage to open this map i might use it to protect my own maps
