Appearently I get it wrong somehow, I cannot really see what I get wrong though.

According to the clean itemlist that is added together with the map so does it say the following.

[I083\1227896883]Robe of Mage
[I084\1227896884]Hood of Mage
[I085\1227896885]Karonphniamm, the Holy Sword

Then correct me if I am wrong but all I should need to do is to type in the following

-spawn I083\1227896883 and it should spawn right? I have also tried
-spawn I083
-spawn [I083\1227896883]Robe of Mage
-spawn [I083\1227896883]
-spawn [I083]

But I get no results.

Are you supposed to just open the map as usual and type in the codes in the normal chat window or am I missing something? Totally new to JJ's and hacked maps overall.

If it's only RMPQEx that doesn't work, it's probably because there's a very light form of MPQ corruption. RMPQEx is very delicate about such.

MPQ Editor would be my first option - if that doesn't work, use it's 1.0/force mode when opening the map; if that does then work, the map is Spazzled, (at least, Spazzler is the only MPQ protection/corruption I've seen where the 1.0 mode works when the regular mode doesn't), which you should then find a Despazzler to fix; if it doesn't, it has a heavier form of MPQ protection and you can try using WinMPQ - if that still doesn't work, then it's probably either MPQ Moonlight or MPQ Somj2hM16, the latter of which we have a guide to fix, the former of which we don't.

If the items.txt is generated blank by RMPQEx, you probably didn't include the path to your Warcraft 3 (correctly) at the top of the window.
