In regards to the .j file, it's probably scripts/war3map.j. Open the map with the listfile here, and it should reveal it.

Do you try syntax check, make sure there's no error in the script.
Also delete the atributes.

Sorry about it. You can activate it but the cheats you enter are all unavailable.
