You can't save in SP but you can save if you play by yourself online. There is no anti-cheat system so you can use cheats like whosyourdaddy.

Basically I want the ability to save when it comes to SP. I am not sure if you can load in SP or not but if worse comes to worse I can just play by myself online and just set my stats very high.

Be a tiny bit more clear - are there any messages when you try to save, (e.g. "You can't save in singleplayer!"), or when the game first loads up, does it say e.g. "Singleplayer mode detected, saving disabled", etc.

No messages at all. When you type save no code appears.
The item list is a higher priority for me than SP since I can play online if necessary(so I guess SP is optional if whoever does this doesn't feel like doing it).
Enemy mobs have a very small chance of dropping stones that allow you to transform into those creatures and I want to try out the different creatures. Some stones are so absurdly rare and hard to get so it would take forever to get them without cheating which is why I want an item list.

I want the itemid. Not sure if that means raw codes or not.

Its the id you use for the -spawn command.
