If it's actually grayed out, close whatever MPQ editing tool you're using and reopen it and the map and try. That happens, sometimes.

If you get an error after actually clicking on it, or if its size doesn't decrease when it should, (depending on the editor you're using - MPQ Editor, for example, shows an error...but MPQ Master does not), you need a better listfile. RMPQEx is good for that.

If you still can't do it, use Vexorian's instead. Download: http://www.wc3c.net/attachment.php?atta ... 1361196939

My recommended settings for Vexorian's:
New Buffer Size: Unchecked
ZLib Deflate: Unchecked
Maintain (attributes): Unchecked
Remove Comments and Useless Space: Checked
Optimize Script: Checked
Compress Names: Checked
Enable "Map Script-Only" Optimizations: Checked
Auxiliary Listfile: not usually needed
Map Optimization Options: Check All
Extra Cleaning Options: Check All
Path to war3patch.mpq: necessary: it's in your base Warcraft 3 directory

Anything else I didn't mention, leave alone. ZLib Deflate can sometimes be used, sometimes not. I've found that it generally blows up the map being optimized. Same with the New Buffer Size option.

Well first of all extract that thing war.j or what ever it is then open it with jass.After you do that you should reconize a Cheat pack in begning it will shit something like "-cheat " or "-1337 " the point is that you see the blue text it could be any text. "-(text) "

Or it could be a name.When you open Jass Press Ctrl+F and type GetPlayerName and you should see if activator is name or it requiers a name.

Fai's usual activator is "lIlIIllIll<3x spaces>"

If Cheat Pack is HKE's...well i could tell you the activator for it if you wana.But you must Ctrl+F and Search for HKE if you want to know if maps contain HKE's cheat pack.

Hope this helps.....if not then it just doesnt helps But the point is if you understand how to insert the cheat pack in map you will understand how to find the activator of the cheat pack.
