Loading Screen text on a map
I am translating a map with a friend and we are almost done on everything, but there's still the text on the loading screen map.. I've searched around and couldn't find where the text is located(i thought it was on the jass). So, does anyone know where this text is located or how can i change it? Because all i can find on google is how to edit the picture on loading screen and when i search "loading screen text" i end up finding only results about how to change the "loading" and "waiting for players" message on your own warcraft.. Didnt find anything about the text on the screen itself
Ps: i mean where it is located @ mpq files.. I know where it is at WE but map is unopenable there.

1. Use Mpq Editor and search whatever the load screen words are.
2. Use W3M Master
2. Use W3M Master

Re: Loading Screen text on a map
That's what i asked, where the loading screen words are located.. Searched some files and none of them had it. I need to know which file it is normally in.A wrote:1. Use Mpq Editor and search whatever the load screen words are.

If i'm not mistaken, i've tried w3m master but failed coz when i try to open the map, it says it has some kind of unknown protection.

For that map you can't change it because it has Mpq Header protection.
Use crazymen14's map and you should be able to edit with W3M Master.

Re: Loading Screen text on a map
I didn't put the files together yet, i'm translating one by one, alreary done the jass, the units and items, and i'm 100% sure the file of loading screen isnt any of them. So, my map will be exactly the same of crazymen's with jass, units and items edited. I want to know only where the loading screen text is located on crazymen's map as i'm using it as the base.A wrote:So upload your map, the 80% translated map...
BTW, it wasnt w3m master i had used before. But w3m master also doesnt work, it crashes when i execute plugin for map info

Re: Loading Screen text on a map
There can be several options.
1) on war3map.j file. Look at function config. If you see something to change, do it.
2) war3map.wts holds some strings that shoult be on the .j file (marked TRIGSTR_XXX when the X are a number of some sort)
3) Use hex editor such as XVI32 to open the map and change the values over there.
4) On some maps, like dota. The information on the loading screen are from the image itself (added using photoshop) soyou will have to eextract the loading screen and edit it usong photoshop. Files are
LoadingScreenTR.tga
LoadingScreenTL.tga
LoadingScreenBR.tga
LoadingScreenBL.tga
