For example:
http://files.wc3edit.net/index.php?acti ... directory=&
Unprotected X Hero Siege has items missing from the shops, and starting items are messed up
http://files.wc3edit.net/index.php?acti ... directory=&
Unprotected (and cheated) Footman Frenzy has items missing from the shops and starting items are gone altogether
Anyone know how to fix this? Simplistic and with minimal thinking if you please.
EDIT: Both show no syntax errors when checked with JassCraft

Try changing some options in the xdep.ini file.
Not sure whats is causing the problem. Test it yourself to see
Maybe its some of these options.
rename_reserved_functions = 1
inline_functions = 1
rename_globals = 1
indent_script = 1

war3map.wts gets deleted when deprotecting with xDEP?
I don't see any w3t file.
So I can find an uncorrupted wts file with an unprotected map and MPQ Recover?

.wts? no, it just gets mostly inlined in when using xdep.
take the original map, extract the .w3t and place it in the new map I believe
