[Guide]How to extract files

Hi ! in this guide i'll show you how to exctract files which are in the map (triggers, models, pictures...)

This method works also if the map is "protected"

What do you need ?
Any MPQ extractor like :

MPQMaster
MPQview
MPQeditor...


I) Extract files

1) Start MPQmaster
2) Click on File, Open, and choose a map, a weird list should appear
3) Select the files which u want to extract
4) Right click on it and then Extract
5) Choose the path where you want to extract the file

Information :

- war3map.j : the script of the map in JASS
- war3map.wtg : the script in Gui
- *.Mdl or *.mdx : it's a Model
- *.blp : texture
- war3map.imp : it's the name of the imported files
- war3map.a : the bilities
- war3map.w3c : the cameras
- war3map.w3r : regions
- war3map.u : unit
- war3map.wct : the script of the map
- war3map.wpm : the map
- war3map.wts : the text
- war3map.blp : minimap

Hey guys, I know it's not exactly the most advanced or informative guide...but please, look at how many requests we get. I have no problem believing that people may need this.

We have requests cause people are lazy as hell. Not because they don't understand how to cheat maps. With all the respect to make guides and share information. All this information was already on the site. I suggest making guides about stuff that are not on the site already.

Why don't combine them in this case? it's better to have all of this in 1 thread...

it's like if i told you "all the information are on the internet"

Not all info is on the internet.

And if you combined it all into 1 page, it would load so slowly that you couldn't load it ;p

@question, if we merge them, this will be the thought process of the average reader:

*click on topic*
"AWW gigantic wall of text"
*goes to requests section*

I always found it easier to read specific topics instead of a huge text wall anyways.
