I used a program called deprotect to deprotect CCD 4.2, and it seemed to work fine, but when I try to open the map in world editor it gives me an error saying "not enough memory to process the command" WERandomGroupSEt error. I know this is a result of map protection, but not how to fix or bypass it.
Please help
how do I deprotect, bypass WERandomGroupSEt error

Well, refer to this thread: http://forum.wc3edit.net/deprotection-c ... 16357.html
It should guide you on how to overcome that error of yours.

Re: how do I deprotect, bypass WERandomGroupSEt error
Thank you for the help, replacing the war3map.i allowed me to open it and see terrain. I saw the guide before but never really bothered with the spoilers, underestimated their value I guess.
btw, I was reading the jassnewgen page and wanted to know, do I need version 1.21b to use it? it seems a little unclear if 1.21 is needed for grimoire only or the whole jassnewgen. I currently have the latest version (off battle.net), will I be able to use jassnewgen with this?
