Define protected. That is the script of the map.

I think you messed things up. First of, you dont have to deprotect a map to cheat it. Read the sticlkies for that.

Okay...lets start all over again. I inserted a cheat into Dota 6.71b but it didn't work. So I thought there could be a protection in the map so I am asking in this thread on how to deprotect it.

Just use MPQMaster to extract the war3map.j file and use JASSCraft or some text editor to change it. Then save and add the file back into the map.

If you want to add JJ's CP into the map, you need to change some of the variable names because they overlap with some of the variables in DotA.

Extract with Mpq Master the .j file, run Vex on the .j file, add your cheats in it, add the .j file back to your map & hf
