Rebuilding is easy with MPQ View + xdep. Just set your xdep configuration to not clean the temp folder on failure, run xdep once on the corrupted map, extract the map files to xdep/temp/files using MPQ View, run xdep again.
Even better, you can edit war3map.j in that folder before running xdep, and the map will be rebuilt with your modified war3map.j file.
