Most every map thats been deprotected will have the triggers corrupted or deleted. I think only a very old map might have the triggers still in tact to be able to edit in GUI.

by corrupted and deleted, do you mean uneditable and unable to be seen or that i simply cant open the map in the normal wc3 editor?
My intention is to add a dungeon to a map, it would be adding things and not editing, is it doable?

You can open it in worlde editor, but would have to edit in Jass. Its been such a long time since I tried something with a deprotected map that I cant recall if you can ADD GUI triggers to a map with only the Jass.

You can add new triggers using the WE GUI system, it should be no problem.
