Tsunami Alert for New Zealand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Hawaii, and others. Waves expected over the next few hours, caused by 8.9 earthquake in Japan.

Yes, I heard this also.
It is the fifth biggest in history.
There were also 6 aftershocks that were very powerful; Around 5 or 6 I think.

Hawaii already got hit with this, but there's not much damage I heard.
