For protected maps, when you deprotect it you can access with world editor.
But is there a way how you can edit units, skills, items for rpg maps?

You have to recover the custom objects using Silk Object Console.

I deprotected the map, dragged the map into Silk Object Optimizer, renamed the map to "MyMap", run Silk Object Optimizer.

Nearly all map seem to stop on unpacking a file, and even if it works shouldn't a recovered map appear?
