I need Help With Wc3.edit
I cant upload a map to the forums when i browser my map then i press add map or something a website pops out and says its uploading and it keeps repeating till vry long.....

just leave it until it finishes, uploading takes alot longer than downloading

Make sure its not bigger than 8mb and as a side note, use chrome. There's a bottom loading bar that says the % of the upload

If you are trying to upload a file bigger than 8, (deprotected map maybe?) use an external file host like sendspace and just post the link here.

The limit, in actuality, is 50MB. However, I can't upload anything higher than 8MB, and going through every attachment ever uploaded reveals that no file above exactly 7.99MB has ever been uploaded. I tried setting it to 200MB, but still didn't help. Not sure what the problem is. Just use mediafire.

I remember a while ago, the limit was 10 MB, then Dekar changed it to 4MB (before the patch) because no maps could be over 4MB and then after the patch, he changed it to 8MB. There isn't a problem, Dekar set the limit. The only problem is that you don't know how to change it ^^.

I did an inverted test - changed the limit to 1MB and I'm still allowed to upload DotA, (7MB).
Even though this is the only page he edited when he changed the limit, I guess it has nothing to do with it? The settings were 50MiB for posts and 20MiB for PMs.
